Web 2.0- New Horizon in making.

Web 2.0 has been gaining too many supporters the world over. What is it anyway? Is it something totally radical as to change our web experience even better or it is a peped-up version of something what was already there but just didn’t get too much attention.

Web 2.0 is a Second generation Internet based services that let people collaborate and share information. The best example I can think of is http://www.myspace.com; the world’s fastest growing social networking portal ownded by Fox Interactive Media - a News Corporation Media unit- in which members collaborate and share information in various ways such a uploaing media files for members to share, share photos, share their views on things etc. Other famous examples are blogs, Digg, Del.icio.us, wikipedia to name a few.

BTW this is my first post with Qumana- desktop blog editor application. I had been using Performancing for Firefox for quite some time now.

This file, USERS_SIDEBAR, is yours for whatever you wish. Text in simple paragraphs, <p></p> lists, whatever. This is a fixed-width column and you will need to keep whatever — fixed-width item — below 162 pixels wide. Again, that concerns fixed-width items, self-forming, liquid items like text in paragraphs will adjust its own width. If you must place a slighter wider item, you can use the USERS_FUNCTION or USERS_FARBAR file to do so, but do note that that too should remain thin at only 120 pixels for some smaller monitors.

Adding Styles!

If you need to add styles to items in this user-file, use the convenient USERS_CSS file. Remember to use the Blog Meta Links to validate after making edits :)

Blogger’s FarBar

This file, USERS_FARBAR, is yours for whatever you wish. Text in simple paragraphs, <p></p> lists, whatever. This is a liquid-width column. That said, you should to keep whatever — fixed-width item — below 120 pixels wide. Again, that concerns fixed-width items, self-forming, liquid items like text in paragraphs will adjust its own width. If you must place a slighter wider item, you can use the USERS_FUNCTION or USERS_SIDEBAR file to do so, but do note that that too should remain thin at only 162 pixels as it is a fixed-width column.

Added Headings!

You can also add headings in these user files. As many as you like. On and on she goes, where she stops. nobody knows! Do remember, though, in these file you have to use proper XHTML. Of course, this content can serve as example to you. Need even more help? Well, professional help is available.
