How Linkable is your blog?

I was reading through the posts on Google Blogoscoped and came across an interesting tool to check â€œhow linkable is your blogâ€. That is - is your blog worth linking to, based on feedback you provide to list of points about your blog.

If you see the questions being asked about your blog, you will find that these are the variables which everyone looks into before selecting blogs they want to link to. For instance â€œI spell check my postsâ€ or â€œThis post might have profound implications for my readersâ€.

My blog failed miserably with 23% linkable result as I do not provide Images in my posts for illustration or explanatory purpose or use standard blog template for my blog, which makes my blog look like just another blog in the blogosphere .

Blogger’s SideBar

This is a fixed-width column and you will need to keep whatever — fixed-width item — below 162 pixels wide. Again, that concerns fixed-width items, self-forming, liquid items like text in paragraphs will adjust its own width. If you must place a slighter wider item, you can use the USERS_FUNCTION or USERS_FARBAR file to do so, but do note that that too should remain thin at only 120 pixels for some smaller monitors.

Adding Styles!

If you need to add styles to items in this user-file, use the convenient USERS_CSS file. Remember to use the Blog Meta Links to validate after making edits :)

Blogger’s FarBar

This file, USERS_FARBAR, is yours for whatever you wish. Text in simple paragraphs, <p></p> lists, whatever. This is a liquid-width column. That said, you should to keep whatever — fixed-width item — below 120 pixels wide. Again, that concerns fixed-width items, self-forming, liquid items like text in paragraphs will adjust its own width. If you must place a slighter wider item, you can use the USERS_FUNCTION or USERS_SIDEBAR file to do so, but do note that that too should remain thin at only 162 pixels as it is a fixed-width column.

Added Headings!
